NOVA IMS - Information Management School (2025)

The experience as a NOVA IMS student was exceptional. The environment is pleasantly conducive to the acquisition of new skills due to the quality of the teaching staff, the facilities, and the successive events that the university promotes to discuss current topics.

Throughout my academic career, NOVA IMS has provided me with the necessary learning to be a better Data Scientist, with its teaching method focused on the most relevant tools in the market and incorporating the most current and basic themes in its curriculum in the creation of good data analysis and statistics professionals. With a practical approach, focused on problem-solving and an academic environment of excellence, with great proximity between teachers and students, NOVA IMS was a school of enormous importance in my development, the right choice for what would be my professional future.

NOVA IMS offers a great experience for International students.
The quality of teaching is exceptional and qualified, which means that the programs are demanding and not easy, but you still allowed time to have fun and enjoy Portugal. I am very pleased with my experience, and I have learned a lot.

With the completion of Secondary Education, there are inevitable and important decisions that affect the fulfillment of our dreams and objectives in the professional scope. After some research, I found NOVA IMS at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where all the necessary conditions for the success of my entry into the job market were gathered, a college with enormous business prestige with a course that could combine two areas: Management and technologies. Today, I am sure I could not have made the best choice! The strong practical component, culture of excellence, innovation and requirement have prepared me for the highly competitive professional world, equipping me with all the skills I need to succeed. There is a sentence from Aristotles that for me has always represented NOVA IMS, "We are what we repeatedly do, excellence is therefore not an act, but a habit".

During my undergraduate degree course, I managed to acquire skills that fit current business requirements, because, in addition to the excellence that NOVA IMS accustomed and instilled in us, we also developed strong technical and soft skills that place us in an excellent market position. Studying at NOVA IMS is to represent a faculty at the forefront of technological development, which challenges itself every day to provide its students with excellent teaching, focused on research and innovation. In addition to the academic component, the environment we live in is of great proximity between colleagues and teachers, so it is a familiar environment, which at the moment remains part of my daily life as I am attending the Master Degree Program in Information Management with a specialization in Marketing Intelligence.
